ISLAMABAD: At least 10 policemen were injured today when a van transporting prisoners was targeted with a roadside bomb in northwest Pakistan. The van was attacked near a jail at Timergara, the main city of Lower Dir district in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province. A Hindu man abducted almost two months ago by unidentified persons has returned home after being released on the outskirts of this northwestern Pakistani city, his family said on Monday. Robin Singh, a computer engineer, was abducted by unidentified persons from a market on University Road in Peshawar on February 12. He was freed by his abductors at the Ring Road late last night.
